Tropical Wedding Theme Ideas - Share Yours?

We would love to hear about your tropical wedding theme and how you organised the hundred-and-one things that needed to be done for that special day.

Perhaps you made some beautiful but inexpensive wedding invitations, grew your own tropical wedding flowers - ha!ha! - or found the most efficient and creative tropical wedding planner and left it all to her?

Please share something of your special day and how you developed a wedding theme that was just perfect for you.

Perhaps you brainstormed some beach wedding ideas and chose beach wedding attire to suit the location? Did you use a commercial photographer or was one of your friends delegated to capture all those special moments?

Did you investigate top honeymoon destinations before choosing the location for the wedding party and guests? I have noticed that many couples use a tropical wedding as a family and friends get-together in a beautiful spot so that guests may stay on and enjoy exploring deserted tropical islands or relaxing as they watch tropical sunsets from the comfort of their resort.

In Port Douglas and the Cairns area wedding parties frequently rent private luxury houses for themselves and guests so that they can really 'catch up' in a relaxed way and explore the beautiful tropical region of ocean, rainforests and mountains once the wedding is over.

If you have some funny stories or some special memories of your wedding to share we would be honoured to hear about them.

We would love it if you could also please share a photo of that memorable day - here.

Web Photo Album I shall make a slide-show of all wedding photos accepted for all to enjoy.

Was your tropical wedding the best ever?

Would you like to tell us about it and send in a special photo? We would love to see it!
