What started as mixed media collage art 'paintings' developed into digital fine art prints and pure silk designer scarves.
Using photographs of tropical flowers from my garden, designs on silk lengths or sections of my paintings, the compositions gradually took shape, with colours, form, textures and line being sorted and balanced into a harmonious whole.
With the end result of colourful prints and scarves in mind, I decided to develop these existing flower drawings and paintings further, combine them and sort them into different 'colour ways' which is always useful for either fashion or interior design.
I spent most of January 2013 doing this - and I must say that I had a lot of fun, cutting, sorting, glueing and painting!
In the end I had twelve different designs, their surfaces finished with high quality oil paints. Next, off they went to Lee Middleton, from High Scan in Cairns, to be scanned at a very high resolution, suitable for printing on paper, canvas - or silk.
The next stage was for sections of the designs to be cropped, ready for making into large art prints - or small ones, if required.
Here are the twelve designs for fine art prints on canvas or paper. Which flower collage/print is your favourite?

These, above, are mostly in the deep blues and pinks range. You may enjoy choosing colours that complement your living room decor - or perhaps they would be perfect in a more casual sun-room? Your choice!

A 'higher key' is obvious with these designs, especially the first three. Number 12 has a bit more depth and looks a little mysterious to me. What do you think?
All prints are available on high quality canvas or paper, unframed and unstretched. They are rolled in a cardboard tube ready for posting.
Most people these days do not frame canvas paintings or prints as they look fine on a fairly wide stretcher, with the edge of the print wrapped around it. Your framer will be able to advise you on this.
Below are a couple of ideas for duos or pairs that might look good together on your wall - and also make a bit more of a 'statement'.
