Join experienced tutor Hannah Parker for 7 Saturday mornings for a course which will expand a range of intaglio techniques, such as hard ground and soft ground etching, spray aquatint and other experimental processes using aluminium etching plates with copper sulphate and salt.
Other printmaking techniques such as collograph and chine colle might be introduced to enhance individual images. This is a continuation of ‘Introduction to Intaglio’ but is open to all artists, including beginners and those with some print experience.
Cost: $390 members $430 non-members includes annual membership

Hannah Parker is an artist/printmaker living and working in and around Cairns. Hannah has facilitated printmaking projects in local and remote Indigenous communities for the past 20 years, working with artists to develop printmaking skills. Hannah is committed to her own practice and regularly exhibits locally and interstate. Her work is in collections in Australia, Italy and USA. Hannah completed Bachelor of Creative Arts at University of Wollongong, majoring in Printmaking, and Advanced Certificate in Printmaking, TAFE Wollongong West
