The Telemann Ensemble - Baroque Chamber Music

North Queensland's only specialist Early Music group, the Telemann Ensemble will present a concert featuring a composition by performer and composer Malcolm Tattersall, as well as music from the 18th century by Telemann, Vivaldi, Keller, Schultze.

Displaying a wonderful synergy of youthful energy and mature experience, this group explores the boundaries of baroque music performed on original instruments, as well as contemporary composition.

The group features beautiful harpsichord playing from Cairns' own Kaye Gersch along with other skilled performers from Townsville: Margaret Caley on baroque violin, Malcolm Tattersall on recorders, Daniel Cocks on oboe and recorder and Wade Tattersall on cello and recorder.

Where: St John’s Church, corner Lake and Minnie Sts, Cairns

Cost: Tickets $20 full, $15 concession, $15 child/school student, $40 family (2+2)
Bookings: ticketLink 1300 855 835.
Tickets will also be available at the door (cash only) from 7pm.
