PERSONAL COLUMNS ADVERTISEMENT
I am an open book!
Come, sir! Explore, enjoy me!
I might make think deep, or smile,
Amuse, delight or puzzle for a while.
I am not difficult to read!
(For a mature and clear thinker)
It is not advisable to skip or fast-read
Instead, you're welcome, sir, to linger...
And you might pleasantly discover,
A book, like me, is overdue to land with you!
So take me as I am - original and true
To study me intently all life through!
Your satisfaction guaranteed!
Provided, you, who read me, will fully
Comprehend and have abilities to meet
This book's essential and important need!
So... if your curiosity, by now
Has been sufficiently aroused,
Then, while I am still open -
Come, sir! And at least, browse!
PS This poem comes from my first collection of poetry titled EMOTIONALLY QUALIFIED! I have set this poem to music and love to sing it, when my energy levels allow me.
