Sasi celebrates Q150 through her children's books, Moving House and Crokee's Country, by exploring her local landscapes and characters which illustrates her embrace for heritage and living in FNQ.

Moving House is a book about a Queenslander home that is saved in the village of Stratford, and Crockee’s Country is inspired by the many crocodile narratives exchanged at the old Barron River bridge. On display are original artworks from the books, and a 3D sculpture of a old Queenslander.

'Local Narrative' is a precursor exhibition to her book launch in December at the Cairns Regional Gallery.
