Arthouse classes schedules and pricing.
Arthouse classes schedules and pricing are similar to earlier formats, with which some of you will be familiar.
Mostly, classes will be held in five week blocks of three hourly lessons, held on certain mornings. Evening classes have also been arranged and these will be of two hours duration. Occasionally there will be a weekend workshop (one or two days).
Teachers are chosen for their qualifications,expertise,experience - and enthusiasm! Courses are all well structured, resulting in definite outcomes.
In general, classes held earlier in the year are at an introductory level, with subsequent sessions extending students to a higher level of achievement.
However, beginners are encouraged to join in classes at any time of the year. All teachers are well able to give individual attention to each student so that each person works at his or her own level, whilst striving to improve.
Enjoyment is fundamental to all classes - so, come along and have fun. You will be very welcome!
Class fees are kept very low, thanks to funding from the Regional Arts Development Fund, a state and local government initiative. Fees also usually include basic materials and equipment for your course.
Preference is always given to students who enrol for a full course, but, if places are available, visitors are very welcome to join in. Please email or telephone to arrange (07- 4099 3448 / 4098 8280 / 4098 5572).

All courses run for five weeks (three hours per week). All levels – beginners welcome. Inexpensive – only $2 hour, includes materials and model (this is not a mis-print!). Fabulous choice – your favourites plus a few new ideas! “Painting and Drawing” (from model) Thursday evenings 6 – 9pm starting October 25 with Shirley Overend. $30 member, $27 concession. “Introduction to Printmaking” (block, screen etc) “One-off” workshop Saturday December 8 - 9.30am – 4pm with Jill Booth. $12 member, $10 concession. “Cut Into Cloth Cleverly"” (fashion) Friday mornings 9.30am – 12.30pm starting Friday November 2 with Linda Jackson. $30 member, $27 concession. “Towards a Personal Vision” (creating a visual vocabulary) Monday afternoons 1 – 4pm starting November 5 with Helen Low. $30 member, $27 concession. “Using natural dyes” (creating a fabric length) Tuesday mornings 9.30am – 12.30pm starting November 6 with Linda Jackson. $30 member, $27 concession. “Anyone Can Draw!” Wednesday evenings 6 – 8pm starting October 31 with Nada Petrasevic. $20 member, $18 concession. "Watercolour" Tuesday mornings, starting November 6 with Gail Shaw. $30 member, $27 concession. BOOKINGS FOR ALL CLASSES may be made online. Visitors are welcome for single sessions, depending on class numbers.
