Terry Johnson CV

"Working from my studio in Robe, South Australia, I create works that are stimulated by both the natural environment as well at the icons of my imagination.

I am, in a way, an iconographer, often painting the same image over and over, looking at the endless ramifications of this subject.

I think of my works as visual dreams, surreal and concerned with the wit of unconscious.

Typically I work in acrylic or mixed media on canvas or paper in a fairly strong palette and greatly enjoy investigating and experimenting with new styles and techniques.

My work is represented in private homes around the world and in many publications.

I regularly exhibit at my own gallery, Wilson’s at Robe, and at selected galleries around Australia."
